A word from our HR Manager
CellMark values its people as the foundation of success. I am pleased to share some of the highlights of our people’s performance and development in 2023.
We conducted a global employee opinion survey with Great Place To Work®, a leading authority on workplace culture. We achieved an amazing 93 percent response rate from all employees, reflecting how much our people care about their company and work. Our Trust Index, which measures the level of trust, respect, and fairness in our workplace, was 82 percent – well above the average for similar companies. Our Engagement Index, which measures the degree of commitment, motivation, and loyalty of our employees, was as high as 86 percent. As many as 86 percent of our employees answered that “Taking everything into account, I would say this is a great place to work”. We are grateful for the trust and engagement, and we will continue to foster a culture of excellence
and well-being for our people.
We completed our first global Business and Leadership Training class in 2023, with 19 participants from different divisions and regions. This was a very successful program, where both business and leadership topics were discussed, such as strategy, finance, communication, and teamwork. The participants also had the opportunity to network and learn from each other, as well as from senior leaders and external experts. The feedback from the participants was very positive, and they reported increased confidence, competence, and collaboration as a result of the program. We plan to continue this program in the future, as part of our talent development strategy.
We focused on competence development in 2023, offering a variety of learning opportunities for our employees, such as online courses on CellMark Academy, webinars, and coaching. We will continue to enhance our processes to support employee growth and development.
We also continued to develop our digital HR system to provide better data and insights for people management. In parts of Europe and Asia, we implemented new – or updated existing – time reporting tools to improve accuracy and efficiency of our payroll processes. In the United States, we merged three of our legal entities into one and harmonized some benefit policies.
2023 has been an exciting year and an interesting learning journey. We thank all our colleagues for their outstanding contributions and achievements in 2023. Our people are the difference and make CellMark the company we have today. We look forward to continuing to build our teams in 2024 and beyond, and continue to create value for our customers, partners, and stakeholders.
