In 2018, CellMark Basic Chemicals<\/a> entered into an agreement with Sappi Southern Africa<\/a> to donate a percentage of lignosulfonate sales to a joint education project with our partner PaperSeed Foundation.<\/a> 2018 contributions from CellMark and Sappi amounted to a joint total of $24,000 USD, all of which will go to making essential upgrades to Lower Tugela Primary school<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Lower Tugela Primary school<\/a> was chosen due to its proximity to a Sappi mill, thus ensuring that the project enriches the learning outcomes of children in their community and prepares them to enter the rapidly changing workforce of the 21st<\/sup>\u00a0century.<\/p>\n

We are very proud to be working in partnership with PaperSeed Foundation and Sappi, in order to support the Lower Tugela Primary School.<\/p>\n
