Since our modest start in a small surf town in Sunset Beach, California, Sunset Trading has quickly gained global presence as the premier job lot experts. Sunset’s unique business fills an important niche between CellMark’s prime paper and wastepaper business for both the mills and consumers.

Additionally, Sunset specializes in trading various grades of scrap metal. With experienced traders onboard, we work with a solid network of suppliers, customers as well as other CellMark offices to ensure the best pricing and market for each type of product.

Every job lot roll has its own unique characteristics – Sunset strives to understand and maximize its potential to ensure a proper home. It all starts with accurate grading of inbound loads through inspection and sampling at Sunset operated warehouses. Warehouses are located strategically to minimize freight and handling, while outbound loads are carefully customized to each customer requirement.

Understanding customer needs doesn’t come without a challenge. Sunset’s customers are located worldwide across 20+ countries; mainly small to medium sized family owned businesses. Each Sunset sales rep works directly with customers and local agents to ensure that their specific demands are met. Visiting customers annually and walking through their converting plants builds personal and trusting relationships needed for a truly successful partnership.
