Chicago Party

CellMark’s annual Customer Appreciation Party in Chicago is always a fete to remember. An October rendezvous much appreciated by both business partners, employees and PaperSeed. This year, the party was held at the Godfrey Hotel’s I|O Urban Roofscape- a sprawling space that boasts cozy indoor elements with open patio space and a breathtaking view of the Chicago skyline. The unique venue’s elemental theme was rounded out with fire dancers and elegant ice sculptures. Turn-out for the party was excellent, and PaperSeed raised a net total of $8,000, all of which will go directly to education projects that benefit children in underserved and resource-lacking communities around the world.

PaperSeed’s Executive Director Aliyya Mattos took advantage of the opportunity to speak to a number of interested business partners about possible future Corporate Social Responsibility projects, and is hopeful to establish a partnership with CasCell Trading in Canada.  Vic Rice, CellMark Recycling gave a shout out to business partners to support PaperSeed, either by establishing new partnerships or utilizing PaperSeed’s expertise as a unique opportunity to meet their CSR goals.

We are grateful for the opportunity to engage a caring company like CellMark in our mission. Without CellMark’s mutual dedication to providing children with the opportunities that education affords, we would not be able to impact as many young lives as we have. PaperSeed is looking forward to a prosperous future with CellMark and hopes to continue to strengthen relationships with business partners in order to create more lasting impact in underserved communities.
