Eligibility Criteria
Organizations must meet the following criteria to be eligible for a grant:
- Nonprofit Status: Must be a registered nonprofit or non-governmental organization.
- Alignment with CellMark’s Values: Should align with areas like sustainability, education, health, and community development.
- Operational History: Must have been operational for at least two years with a track record of impactful results.
- Transparency and Governance: Should have transparent accounting, clear governance, and adhere to ethical practices.
- The applying organization must have a revenue between $1 million and $5 million (USD).
- Innovative Approach: Preference for organizations using innovative solutions to address significant issues.
- Employee Nomination: Must be nominated by a CellMark employee, with one nomination allowed per employee per cycle.
- Documentation: Must provide proof of nonprofit status, financial statements, and annual reports.
Nomination & Application Process
- Nomination: An employee from CellMark nominates an organization via an email to sarah.wild@cellmarkcares.org.
- Application: The CellMark Cares Committee reaches out to the organization to ask them to submit a form via CellMark’s internal portal.
- Review: Initial review by the CellMark Cares Committee to ensure eligibility.
- Shortlisting: Invitation to shortlisted organizations to submit a detailed application.
- Final Selection: Based on alignment with CellMark’s goals, potential impact, and organizational capacity.
- Notification: Decisions announced, with successful organizations publicly recognized.

Reporting & Accountability
Grantees must submit periodic progress and a final report detailing fund usage and the impact achieved.
