This year at NYIFT, CellMark Ingredients is proud to announce that, for the first time, our product Nicotinamide Mononucleotide (NMN) is now Self Affirmed GRAS. NMN has gained popularity as a Nicotinamide Adenine Dinucleotide (NAD+) boosting molecule published in research papers by Harvard and Washington University. NAD+ is required for over 500 enzymatic reactions and plays key roles in the regulation of almost all major biological processes. NAD+ production decreases with age and in certain disease conditions. As NAD+ drops in our bodies it reduces the cell’s ability to make energy, and signs of aging and disease become apparent.
