In Gothenburg July 2, 1984 our “original 21” had a dream of a new alternative for the international marketing and distribution of forestry products for the global pulp and paper industry. Collectively, they had many years of experience in international trade and grand competence in every major market. They were ready to take on the world – and formed Cellulose Marketing International, today CellMark.

35 year later, CellMark has grown to a global world-class marketing and supply chain service company, with seven successful international divisions, providing a full suite of products, services and solutions to customers and suppliers worldwide. We have sought opportunities for our business to grow, and we are proud of the company that we have built together.

Every day, 750 engaged professionals are making effort to surpass our customer’s and supplier’s expectations. CellMark operates in 120 markets and has a network of 70 offices in 30-plus countries. Our annual sales 2018 was USD $3.3 billion. This year, we also hit the mark of 7 million tonnes of shipment. Yes, we are proud of what we have accomplished, but we are still constantly striving for new goals. We aim to be the industry’s obvious choice for global supply chain services.

Today, 2 July 2019, we want to thank all our customers, suppliers and partners for being a very important part of this journey. Let’s go for 35 more years of making our best efforts in order to surpass expectations!

This is the calendar of our former CEO, Hans Kling. Written in July 2, 1984, in the very beginning of CellMark’s journey, this sweet memory is a reminder of where we once started.
